Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts lookups for customers in our store. The role emphasizes expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and in-store operations.

You will handle DIY services, assist with inventory, and maintain high customer service and store appearance. 3–5 years of auto parts experience and ASE readiness are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past customer transactions
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, opening/closing duties
• Assist in inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
