Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our team. This role supports advanced DIY functions, part knowledge, and in-store services such as battery testing and installation.

You will assist customers in person and by phone, using store systems to locate parts and complete transactions. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs and manuals; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
