Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge on store systems and automotive parts. You will assist DIY customers in-store and by phone, perform battery tests and installations, and support inventory and cleanliness standards.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong sales ability, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is preferred and opportunities include growth within a leading auto parts retailer.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing.
