Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customer needs in-store and over the phone. You will leverage automotive parts knowledge to identify, source, and upsell solutions while maintaining excellent service standards.

You will handle part lookups, inventory tasks, and basic vehicle service support, including installations and testing, with a focus on accuracy and safety. ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Experience helping customers with product selection and upselling.
• Ability to locate parts quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
