Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and in-store service.

You will handle parts lookup, inventory, and basic automotive diagnostics; ASE certification is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends while delivering high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability
• ASE certification preferred, but not required; valid driver’s license required
• English communication; Spanish a plus; ability to use parts catalogs and safety rules

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone
• Meet personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installations
• Maintain high customer service and store appearance standards
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock
• Support truck put-away and shelving and organize stock
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems; locate and source parts
