Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert parts knowledge and DIY services. You will assist customers in person and by phone, manage service tasks such as battery installations and wiper changes, and help maintain store standards.

Ideal candidates bring automotive parts experience, strong selling skills, and safety awareness; ASE certification is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive parts and systems, and DIY servicing.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals; write simple notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers via in-person visits and calls.
• Meet personal and store sales and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services: battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain high customer service standards and store appearance.
• Perform as key holder: assign tasks, ensure safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in inventory: stock parts, cycle counts, back stock.
