Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert automotive knowledge, assist DIY customers, and support store inventory and operations. The role is full-time and emphasizes sales, service excellence, and the ability to perform DIY services such as battery installs and wiper changes.

Experience in automotive parts, strong customer service, and familiarity with store systems are essential. Valid driver's license required; ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience fulfilling customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
