Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and recommend parts with strong product knowledge. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, manage battery testing and wiper installs, and uphold clean store conditions.

The role requires familiarity with store inventory, POS and parts lookup tools, and good communication to build relationships across staff and customers. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling and providing customer service in a DIY/retail setting.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and ability to identify parts for customers.
• Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems; basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Fulfill key holder duties including opening/closing and safety.
