Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY functions with expert store knowledge and parts lookup skills. You will engage customers in person and by phone, perform battery testing and quick servicing, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in auto parts, strong selling abilities, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is preferred but not required, and full-time hours are available across days, evenings,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and experience fulfilling customer transactions.
• Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
