Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in the United States seeks a Retail Parts Pro to assist DIY customers with expert knowledge of automotive parts and store systems. The role requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

ASE certification is preferred but not required; you will work a mix of days and weekends and handle parts lookup, inventory tasks, and basic DIY services.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
