Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. This full-time role requires deep knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and DIY service capability, including battery installations and diagnostic assistance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of parts sales experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with parts catalogs and inventory systems. ASE certification is preferred. Excellent communication and reliability are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts sales experience.
• Knowledgeable about parts catalogs and inventory systems.
• Able to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
