Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and high-level DIY support in-store and by phone. The role emphasizes accurate parts identification, advanced troubleshooting, and efficient service to DIY customers, with responsibilities including assisting in inventory, pricing, and checkout operations.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in automotive parts, ASE certification preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Experience with inventory systems and store equipment.
• Familiarity with047 diagnostic tools and parts lookup systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder tasks including safety, opening/closing duties.
