Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales and parts identification in-store. This role requires extensive knowledge of automotive systems, parts lookup, and customer service to help DIY customers both in person and by phone.

The position emphasizes high standards of service, inventory handling, and the ability to work varying shifts including weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience with a proven sales ability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
