A law firm in Jersey City seeks experienced Matrimonial and Family Law Associate Attorneys. This remote role involves representing clients in family law matters, including divorce and child custody. Successful candidates will have a New Jersey law license and at least three years of family law experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
We are seeking Matrimonial and Family Law Divorce Associate Attorneys, Mid-Level or Partner Attorneys to work remotely in the Jersey City area. IF YOU ARE NOT AN EXPERIENCED FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY, BARRED IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY, YOUR RESUME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. ALL SCREENING QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED TO BE CONSIDERED. It is vital that you have at least three and thirty-plus years of experience in the New Jersey Court System. The Attorneys will handle legal matters related to family relationships, including divorce, child custody, and spousal support. Their duties include advising clients, representing them in court, negotiating settlements, and drafting legal documents. This position would be well-suited for individuals who are dedicated to supporting families facing challenges and to making a meaningful impact by helping families navigate challenging times during pivotal times in their lives. All candidates will have a license to practice law with at least three years of experience working at a Family Law Firm in New Jersey and the ability to successfully manage multiple clients. The firm offers the absolute latest in cloud-based technology. Responsibilities: • Represent their clients in all court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals; advocating for their interests; advising clients on their rights and options, helping them understand the legal implications of their decisions; working to reach fair settlements in family law matters, often through mediation or alternative dispute resolution. • Prepare legal documents like divorce petitions, case information statements, custody agreements, motions, and more. • Assisting clients with all aspects of divorce, including property division, spousal support, and child custody; negotiating and litigating child custody agreements, including visitation schedules, and determining parenting arrangements; determining and enforcing child support obligations; and negotiating and litigating spousal support agreements. • Drafting and advising on prenuptial agreements. • Assisting with adoption proceedings. • Representing clients in guardianship matters. • Other Family Law Issues: handling paternity disputes, domestic violence matters, and other family-related legal issues. Qualifications: • A license to practice law with experience from the New Jersey State Bar Association. • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in family law in New Jersey • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. • Good organizational and multitasking abilities. • Must be skilled in negotiation, debate, and persuasion techniques. Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 yearly

Compensation:
$100,000-$200,000 per year
