Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Recruiter to lead the full-cycle recruitment process for the division in California. You will source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers with the HR team.

Work closely with the Director of HR and department managers to forecast staffing needs, design job descriptions, post ads, and maintain compliant personnel records. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• AA Degree desired.
• 2-3 years administrative support experience.
• Experience supporting HR/recruiting preferred.
• Proficient with UKG and major recruiting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
• Posts job ads on UKG Recruitment module and major boards.
• Conducts interviews and evaluates candidates’ skills.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Builds a talent pipeline and maintains candidate records.
• Serves as main contact between candidates and TSA during selection.
