Job summary

BMO InvestorLine seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Regional Sales Managers across a broad Canadian division. The role drives sales, asset growth, referrals, and client acquisition while maintaining a business-owner mindset and ensuring strong performance management, coaching, and partner engagement.

The position requires 60-80% travel within the division, with a 100% remote work setup. Fluency in French and English is preferred to support operations beyond Quebec.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree.
• CIRO courses and licensing: CSC, CPH, WME, and BMC.
• Proven sales leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% as required.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders.
• Fluent in French and English to support operations outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Managers to meet sales objectives.
• Own divisional sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
• Build strategic partnerships across BMO distribution channels.
• Drive divisional business plans and execution to achieve targets.
• Provide strategic input to senior leaders on performance and growth.
• Lead divisional meetings, reviews, and coaching activities.
• Support sales enablement and training initiatives.
