Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation's Schwab Wealth Advisory seeks a Managing Director & Divisional Leader to scale a premier wealth management business. You will lead multiple geographies, align cross-functional teams, and drive growth, client outcomes, and disciplined investment planning within a personal advisory model.

The role requires 10+ years in financial services with leadership of senior professionals, strong communication and change leadership, and readiness to travel 25–30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66; 9/10; 120-day condition may apply.
• CFP® or CFA®; 24-month condition may apply.
• 10+ years in securities or financial services, including leading people leaders.
• Ability to influence, engage, and build consensus across executives, peers, and frontline employees.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead with organizational and wealth-management expertise to align teams and deliver growth, retention, and client outcomes.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvement and innovation.
• Define and execute a multi-year roadmap of capabilities and experiences.
• Build high-performing leaders through coaching and development.
• Translate strategy for senior leaders, manage risks, and deliver results with integrity.
• Partner with branch leaders and cross-functional teams to advance the wealth advisory value proposition.
