Job summary

FlatironDragados, a strategic finance leader for our Mid Atlantic Division, seeks a VP of Divisional Finance to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability across multiple mega projects and regional work in North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland.

You will lead financial operations, oversee reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow, and mentor a high-performing finance team while partnering with operational leaders to optimize project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in the engineering/construction industry.
• Demonstrated success partnering with executive operational leaders to drive financial performance.
• Proven experience leading finance organizations supporting geographically dispersed operations with annual revenues >$1B.
• Extensive knowledge of project accounting, percentage-of-completion accounting, forecasting, WIP reporting, and cost-to-complete analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations for the division, partnering with Division EVP and District VPs.
• Provide executive financial oversight for regional and mega infrastructure projects.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, year-end close, audits, cost reporting, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, overhead planning, and cost allocation across the division.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and risks, and recommend profitability improvements.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements, GL reconciliations, and supporting docs.
• Maintain financial controls and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, treasury, and asset management for efficient operations.
• Partner with operations leaders to support project performance and decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing divisional finance team and drive process improvements.
