Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Divisional Database and Compliance Associate to oversee WellSky Community Services, HMIS, and related data platforms. You will train users, manage data quality, and generate analytics to inform division decisions and funding requests.

You will collaborate with units, ensure compliance with guidelines, and support program monitoring and reporting. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Database Management or Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum two years professional experience with databases and data management.
• Experience with WellSky Community Services and HMIS software preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer service excellence.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and protect data integrity.
• MS Office proficiency and intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee WellSky/HMIS and data platforms; ensure data quality and analytics.
• Create and manage user accounts, licensing, and compliance.
• Develop reports and dashboards; support program monitoring and outcomes.
• Coordinate data sharing between programs and state HMIS systems.
• Provide training and technical assistance; travel as needed.
• Support administrative duties and seasonal workflows for divisional HQ.
