Job summary

The Pasha Group in San Rafael, CA, seeks a Divisional Controller to lead accounting operations for designated units, drive timely financial reporting, and partner with senior leadership on budgeting and strategy.

You will manage accounting managers and staff, improve processes, ensure policy compliance, and deliver insightful analyses that influence business decisions across finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent accounting experience preferred.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience working with accounting software platforms and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting controls, AR, AP, and GL reconciliation processes.
• Experience preparing complex financial analyses and worksheets.
• Ability to support accounting operations across multiple companies or business entities.
• Experience developing, implementing, and communicating accounting policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Financial Reporting for designated entities, divisions, and lines of business.
• Deliver financial and operational reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Evaluate budgets, standard costs, and variances to identify trends.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and reporting to support strategic decisions.
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Center of Excellence teams.
• Support accounting software implementations and system upgrades.
• Partner with Finance leadership to ensure consistency and excellence across reporting.
