D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Division Paralegal to support Division Counsel, Land Acquisition, and Land Development by coordinating legal requirements to meet division goals. The role demands attention to contracts, closings, and regulatory milestones.

Responsibilities include drafting agreements, coordinating with outside counsel, and organizing project files, with a compensation package including annual salary and bonus opportunities. Excellent benefits accompany a Fortune 500 employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Paralegal certificate required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent (preferred) may be advantageous.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inform Division on transaction status and next steps.
• Prepare and submit approvals for contracts and notices.
• Draft first drafts of Purchase and Sale Agreements and amendments.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, title and escrow officers.
• Draft real estate closing documents and review settlement statements.
• Attend and host meetings with various departments.
