Responsibilities

• Form and file entity formation, dissolutions, and annual reports.
• Draft board and officer resolutions.
• Maintain electronic records and corporate minute books.
• Assist with SEC and NYSE filings.
• Provide admin support to the Corporate Legal Team.
• Other corporate duties as assigned.

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Corporate Paralegal. The right candidate will work as part of a team to provide legal and administrative support to the Corporate Legal team. This is a professional position that interacts with senior attorneys and senior management.

The right candidate will have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. We offer hands-on training for internal software applications, but we expect strong working knowledge of Office Word Suite.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Entity Formation, Dissolutions, Compliance, Annual Reports and State Filings
• Draft Board and Officer Resolutions
• Maintain Electronic Records
• Organize and Maintain Corporate Minute Books in Digital Format
• Assist with SEC and NYSE Filings
• Assist with Proxy Statements and Annual Stockholder Meetings
• Administrative and Clerical Support to Corporate Legal Team
• Other Corporate Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Four to ten years of paralegal or related administration experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Paralegal certificate not required but is a plus.

Candidate must be self-motivated and able to prioritize, multi-task and follow projects through until complete with little supervision. Required skills include:
