Crescent Energy in Houston, TX seeks a Division Order Analyst to manage DO setup, ownership changes, and audit support, serving as a liaison among Land, Accounting, Legal, and Operations. The role emphasizes data integrity, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with acquisition/divestiture teams, with reporting to the Division Order Manager.

A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in land administration or division order are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Land Administration, Business, or related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in Land Administration or Division Order.
Strong working knowledge of oil and gas ownership, lease, and contract administration.
Experience with data management systems (e.g., LandVantage, TRDI, Quorum, P2 Land, SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.

Responsibilities

DO setup, maintenance, and ownership changes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Resolve escalated ownership issues and landowner disputes.
Collaborate with Finance & Accounting, Land Operations, and Land Administration teams.
Support acquisition and divestiture opportunities during negotiation, diligence, and integration cycles.
Assist with audits, litigation, A&D and other third-party inquiries.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure ownership data integration throughout workflows and systems.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and contractual requirements.
Support system upgrades, conversions, and process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
