STATE BOARD OF WORKERS’ COMPENSATION in Georgia seeks a Deputy Division Director in Atlanta, GA. The role leads the Licensure Self & Insurance Division, overseeing policy, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

The position requires strong leadership, project management, and deep knowledge of workers’ compensation and insurance regulations. The candidate will supervise division staff, collaborate with GSIGTF, prepare reports, and represent the agency at meetings.

• Assists the Division Director in developing and implementing division policies, goals, and initiatives.
• Supervises and evaluates division staff for accuracy and compliance with laws and procedures.
• Acts as secondary liaison to self-insured employers, insurance carriers, TPAs, and regulators.
• Reviews applications, filings, and reports for regulatory compliance.
• Oversees quality assurance and compliance activities related to programs and vendor performance.
• Prepares reports and presentations for agency leadership; represents the agency at meetings.
