Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of progressive construction experience, with a strong background in civil, utilities, underground infrastructure or field operations.
• Leadership experience as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Division Manager, General Manager or in a comparable role.
• A track record of overseeing multiple projects and developing capable teams.
• Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of budgets, schedules, production and operational performance.
• The confidence to build client relationships and represent the business.
• A personable, energetic approach, with the ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable.
• A collaborative, humble leadership style and a willingness to stay close to the work.
• For the travelling division, experience leading geographically dispersed teams and a willingness to travel regularly.

We’re exclusively partnered with a growing infrastructure contractor to appoint two senior operational leaders one to lead its Charlotte/North Carolina market and another to oversee its travelling division across the Southeast.

These roles offer the scope to influence how a division operates: developing its leaders, strengthening project performance, building client relationships and shaping future growth. The package includes exceptional six-figure bonus potential linked to divisional performance. For an experienced construction leader ready to take broader ownership, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact.

The contractor specialises in the underground infrastructure that carries power and communications across construction sites and developments. Its capabilities include duct banks, underground conduit, manholes, directional drilling, cable installation and site lighting.

You’ll lead established teams of Project Managers, Superintendents and Foremen, combining practical operational support with clear expectations and accountability.

Two Routes to Leadership

• Charlotte / North Carolina Division: Lead regional operations, develop project teams and strengthen client relationships across the market.
• Southeast Travelling Division: Oversee projects and teams across the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia, with regular regional travel and project visits.

Your focus will be on helping teams deliver consistently ensuring they have the people, resources and direction to succeed while developing leaders who can take ownership of their projects.
