Certus Recruitment is partnering with an established engineering and infrastructure consultancy in Northern Colorado to appoint a Division Manager to lead the civil engineering and municipal infrastructure business.

The role is a senior leadership position for a Colorado PE-licensed Civil Engineer who can blend technical expertise with commercial acumen, client development and win new business.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in civil engineering and construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong background in municipal infrastructure, water/wastewater or utilities.
• Experience managing complex programmes, projects, teams and budgets.
• Strong client relationship and business development track record.
• Commercial and financial acumen with risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers, construction managers, technicians and inspectors.
• Oversee major civil engineering and municipal infrastructure programmes.
• Own project delivery, budgets, resources and divisional financial performance.
• Build long-term relationships with municipalities, public agencies and private-sector clients.
• Identify, develop and win new business opportunities.
• Lead proposals, budgets and commercial strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
• Mentor and develop technical and project leadership teams.

Certus Recruitment is partnering with an established, multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure consultancy to appoint a Division Manager to lead and grow its civil engineering and municipal infrastructure business in Northern Colorado.

This is a senior leadership role for a Colorado PE-licensed Civil Engineer who can combine technical expertise and project leadership with commercial acumen and a proven ability to develop clients and win new business.

You’ll have ownership of the people, clients, delivery and financial performance of the division, working across significant infrastructure projects including water and wastewater, utilities, transportation, municipal facilities and construction management.

The Role

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers, construction managers, technicians and inspectors
• Oversee major civil engineering and municipal infrastructure programmes

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years' experience across civil engineering and construction
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong background in municipal infrastructure, public works, water/wastewater or utilities
• Proven experience managing complex programmes, projects, teams and budgets
• Strong client relationship and business development track record
• Commercial and financial awareness
• Experience with construction management, contract administration and risk management
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience across water/wastewater treatment, transportation or utility infrastructure, together with established municipal relationships, would be highly advantageous.

$170,000–$200,000 base salary + bonus and comprehensive benefits.
