Job summary

Carolina Mechanical Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Division Manager to lead daily operations and drive performance across the department. You will coordinate with leaders across functions, coach staff, and shape policies to ensure efficiency and ethical conduct.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in business management and have at least five years of related experience, with ICPM certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five years of related experience.
• Preferred ICPM certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the department to ensure smooth operation.
• Review reports from managers and team members to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Establish communication with managers in other departments to coordinate efforts and solve problems as needed.
• Provide support to employees in the form of coaching, counseling, or other methods of employee development.
• Work with Human Resources to manage staffing needs, including hiring, terminations, and training.
• Conduct performance evaluations to assess employee performance.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor financial performance to ensure goals are being met.
• Establish and enforce organizational policies regarding employee conduct and ethics.

Standard Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.

Position Summary

• Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitoring financial performance to ensure goals are being met.
• Establish and enforce organizational policies regarding employee conduct and ethics to promote a productive workplace environment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Required: Five years of related experience.
• Preferred: Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM).

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit at a desk and/or computer for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
