Job summary

The Romanoff Group of Companies seeks a Division Manager to plan and oversee daily operations across the organization, ensuring goals are achieved. You will manage performance, coordinate with other departments, and lead staff development.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in construction management and 5+ years in senior leadership, with strong budgeting, scheduling, and project controls expertise. Excellent benefits and an Employee Owned structure are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive construction management experience.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership or multi-project management role.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, estimating, and project controls.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the division to meet goals.
  • Review performance reports and identify improvement areas.
  • Coordinate with department managers to align efforts.
  • Provide coaching and development for staff.
  • Work with HR on staffing, hiring, and training.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and set policies.

Standard Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
Position Summary:

The Division Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure smooth operation.
  • Review reports from managers and team members to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish communication with managers in other departments to coordinate efforts and solve problems as needed.
  • Provide support to employees in the form of coaching, counseling, or other methods of employee development.
  • Working with Human Resources to manage staffing needs, to include hiring, terminations, and the training of new employees.
  • Conducting performance evaluations to assess employee performance.
  • Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring financial performance to ensure goals are being met.
  • Establish and enforce organizational policies regarding employee conduct and ethics to promote a productive workplace environment.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and construction management experience may be considered.
  • Required: 10+ years of progressive construction management experience.
  • Required: 5+ years in a senior leadership or management role overseeing multiple projects.
  • Preferred: Previous experience working in the trades (Electrical, HVAC and/or Plumbing)
  • Preferred: Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM).
  • Required: Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss management.
  • Required: Advanced knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, estimating, and project controls.
  • Required: Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and/or computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
