Qualifications

  • ICPM certification (Institute of Certified Professional Managers).

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure smooth operation.
  • Reviewing reports from managers and team members to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establishing communication with managers in other departments to coordinate efforts and solve problems as needed.
  • Providing support to employees in the form of coaching, counseling, or other methods of employee development.
  • Working with Human Resources to manage staffing needs, including hiring, terminations, and the training of new employees.
  • Conducting performance evaluations to assess employee performance.
  • Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring financial performance to ensure goals are being met.
  • Establishing and enforcing organizational policies regarding employee conduct and ethics to promote a productive workplace environment.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance, guidance, and coaching support as needed.
  • Some travel is required based on business need.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ progressive years in Construction or like-type business preferred but not required
  • Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM).
  • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
