Job summary

Allegiance Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Division Manager for Underground Utilities & Electrical Infrastructure and Data Centres. You will lead established project teams, drive safety, quality, productivity and financial performance while developing leaders and delivering client value.

Two routes exist: Charlotte/North Carolina division and Southeast travelling division, with regular travel. You will build relationships with clients and contractors, oversee staffing and budgets, and mentor

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction experience, with a strong background in civil, utilities, underground infrastructure or field operations.
• Leadership experience as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Division Manager, General Manager or in a comparable role.
• A track record of overseeing multiple projects and developing capable teams.
• Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of budgets, schedules, production and operational performance.
• The confidence to build client relationships and represent the business.
• A personable, energetic approach, with the ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable.
• A collaborative, humble leadership style and a willingness to stay close to the work.
• For the travelling division, experience leading geographically dispersed teams and a willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance across multiple underground utility and infrastructure projects.
• Coach and develop Project Managers, Superintendents and field leaders.
• Set clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity and financial performance.
• Oversee staffing, schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Visit projects to assess progress, support teams and resolve operational challenges.
• Build lasting relationships with clients, General Contractors and project stakeholders.
• Support estimating, preconstruction, takeoffs and commercial decisions.
• Strengthen operational standards and help shape the division’s continued growth.
