Polytec, a leader in laser-based non-contact measurement, seeks a Sr. Technical Sales Division Leader to grow the surface metrology division and engage with current and prospective customers across aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing sectors.

Remote-enabled with travel to US offices including Boston, Orange County, and Michigan. You will generate new business, analyze market trends, deliver compelling sales presentations, and provide product feedback to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in surface/optical metrology or adjacent industries.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Anticipate and meet customer needs.
• Self-motivated with drive to improve and develop professionally.
• Ability to handle rejection and work under pressure.

The Sr. Technical Sales Division Leader will be responsible for working with current and potential customers to grow Polytec's surface metrology division.

Role Responsibilities

• Utilize sales practices to generate and develop new customers while effectively managing existing customers
  


• Analyze sales and market data to summarize and report on business and market trends
  


• Develop and deliver sales presentations and closes
  


• Provide product feedback and development opportunities to enhance sales profitability


• Stay updated on sales and business job knowledge as well as maintaining professional connections and networks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university
  


• 3+ years experience in the surface/optical metrology industry and/or any adjacent industries
