Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH INC) is seeking a dual-hatted General and Operations Manager, Senior, who will also serve as Chief Engineer for NAWCWD China Lake.

Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering workforce delivering next-generation weapons integration, software validation, and flight-test architecture. You will act as the principal technical authority for the contract, interface with Navy IPT leads, govern the SE lifecycle, and drive safety, cybersecurity, and lifecycle

Qualifications

• MS/MA degree in a relevant technical field.
• BS/BA with 4 years of additional experience.
• Minimum of twenty (20) years of combined aviation and management experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience guiding lower-level technical/engineering managers.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; TS preferred.
• Current Driver’s License required; insured to drive government/work vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical authority and operational co-lead for the contract.
• Lead cross-functional IPTs across aerospace, electrical, cybersecurity and data-product fields.
• Govern the systems engineering lifecycle: requirements, architecture validation, CCBs, airworthiness.
• Establish contract-wide engineering methodologies, safety-of-flight processes and cybersecurity compliance.
• Translate Navy strategic objectives into executable systems engineering workflows.
• Oversee technical output of multi-disciplinary engineering teams in avionics, uncrewed systems and range networks.
• Manage and guide lower-level technical/engineering managers and provide technical support.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.
