SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory seeks a Division Leader for the Experimental Control Systems Division to lead Controls engineers and technical staff. You will coordinate engineering and operational initiatives, manage resources, budget, and projects, and contribute to long-term operational excellence.

The role reports to the LCLS Chief Engineer and requires shaping staff development, design reviews, and policy alignment with SLAC and LCLS requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative

Competenze

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field and at least ten years of engineering leadership.
• Experience in lifecycle management of complex control systems for large facilities.
• Proven ability to lead a large organization of technical staff through subordinate managers.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic leadership to Controls engineers and staff, including systems engineering and program management.
• Ensure divisional processes align with SLAC/LCLS requirements and staffing needs.
• Lead engineering reviews, cost/schedule oversight, and quality assurance.
• Oversee operational activities and guide best practices across the division.
• Collaborate with Lab leaders on project decisions and report to senior management.
