Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking an accounting/finance professional to support the division finance manager in closing, forecasting, and analytics at the Blue Ash, OH location. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting and adherence to GAAP.

You will collaborate with division executives, prepare annual plans and budgets, manage third-party inventory services, and supervise staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in accounting/finance; CPA or Master's is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Essbase, Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support division finance manager with closing and weekly financial review.
• Assist with division business plan, forecasts, and budgets.
• Assist with district/store incentive plans and by-store budgets.
• Support preparation of financial statements with GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with executives, CFO, and Accounting Center for reporting.
• Manage third-party inventory count services.
• Lead and mentor team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Travel up to 10% within the division.
