Kroger is seeking a division finance associate to support the division finance manager in close week activities, financial analyses, business plan schedules, and forecasting templates. You'll ensure policy compliance and support third-party inventory services, contributing to accurate reporting.

The role involves partnering with division executives, preparing budgets and forecasts, reviewing GAAP compliance, and coaching staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with relational databases and data visualization tools (Essbase, Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of GAAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support division finance manager in closing week activities and forecasting.
• Prepare financial analyses, business plan schedules, and templates.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and company procedures.
• Communicate financial performance to executives and manage controllable costs.
• Assist with annual business plans, forecasts, and district/store budgets.
• Maintain key financial reporting and support SOX controls.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; travel up to 10% within division.
