Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Division Controller to manage the accounting and financial reporting for a division, based in St. Louis area.

This role requires leadership of accounting teams, development of internal controls, and collaboration with executives to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has significant accounting leadership experience, a CPA/CMA preferred, and a track record in financial planning, cost controls, and auditing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field; Master's preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
• 7–10 years of financial leadership as a controller; 3–5 years in construction accounting; 5+ years of people management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations for the division, including billing, collections, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Develop and enforce internal controls; document processes and policies; support banking and treasury functions.
• Prepare and manage annual budget, forecasts, and month/quarter/year-end close; produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting; ensure compliance with GAAP and tax filings.
• Mentor and coach staff; communicate performance feedback; drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
