Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Division Controller in Jacksonville, FL to own the Atlantic Coast Asphalt division's financial operations. The role partners with project managers and engineers on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, and leads a small accounting team through an upcoming SAP ERP implementation.

The successful candidate will provide financial reporting, variance analysis, and strategic insights to senior leadership, while enabling operational decisions and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience leading financial operations for a division in construction or similar industry.
• Ability to partner with project managers and engineers on budgets and cost control.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, data migration, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for the Atlantic Coast Asphalt division.
• Lead a small accounting team of 2–3 clerks and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and senior leadership to drive financial performance.
• Play key role in the SAP ERP implementation to support financial processes and data integrity.
• Provide variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support operational decisions.

Division Controller – Major Heavy Civil Contractor – Jacksonville, FL

I’m partnering with a leading infrastructure and construction contractor seeking a Division Controller to take ownership of the financial operations for their Atlantic Coast Asphalt division.

This is a key leadership opportunity for a finance professional to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and cost control while working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and senior leadership.
