Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital within HCA Healthcare is seeking a Division Clinical Simulations Specialist to manage, operate and maintain the simulation lab technology and equipment for education sessions.

You will collaborate with clinical educators to develop training materials, troubleshoot AV and manikin systems, and ensure smooth delivery of simulation-based training to staff and learners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare preferred.
• EMT certification preferred.
• Familiarity with PCs and basic software preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and AV equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain simulation and education technologies to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and restore operation promptly.
• Develop curriculum and educational materials for simulation training.
• Interface with manufacturers to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and updates.
• Operate simulators and task trainers during training sessions as needed.
