Job summary

Hagerstown Community College is seeking a Simulation Clinical Lab Assistant to provide technical and operational support for nursing simulation labs. Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Information; 3 years of combined healthcare/clinical and office/tech experience.
• Healthcare or nursing simulation lab experience preferred.
• RN/EMT/Allied health or IT/technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates patient simulators, clinical equipment, audiovisual systems, computer-based instructional tools, and other simulation technologies used in scheduled laboratory activities.
• Prepares simulation and skills laboratory spaces, equipment, supplies, and materials for scheduled instructional activities.
• Assists nursing faculty with the technical and operational implementation of scheduled skills laboratory and simulation activities, including operating patient simulators and running pre-programmed scenarios as directed.
• Provides routine technical assistance to faculty and staff with the operation of simulation equipment and related technologies.
• Performs routine operational checks, basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and care of simulation equipment and laboratory resources.
