Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a Simulation Technician to support the Riverside Simulation Training Lab in Newport News, Virginia. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation equipment; prepare simulators, standardized patients, and moulage for training; and provide ongoing technical support and staff training.

You will also manage inventory, coordinate lab scheduling, and assist with data collection and policy-related tasks, ensuring confidentiality and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Technology or health related field (Required)
• Program Graduate, Technology field diploma (Required)
• Bachelors Degree, Technology or related field (Preferred)
• CHSOS certification within 3 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain simulation equipment for training sessions.
• Create realistic learning environments with simulators, standardized patients, and moulage.
• Provide technical support and training on the use of simulation equipment.
• Manage inventory and coordinate equipment needs for the simulation lab.
• Assist with data collection, record-keeping, policy development, and special projects.
• Other duties as assigned
