Job summary

The University of Southern California's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Division Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery who is fellowship trained and board certified, at associate or professor level. The role spans USC Arcadia Hospital and its satellites, serving East Los Angeles.

Responsibilities include clinical leadership, teaching a fellowship program, and leading high-impact research to advance pelvic floor care.

Qualifications

• MD degree with completion of a 4-year ACGME accredited Ob.Gyn residency.
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery with URPS board certification (or planned exam).

Responsibilities

• Clinical leadership over urogynecology, complex pelvic reconstructive surgeries, and multidisciplinary care.
• Mentor and supervise residents, fellows, and students; ensure excellence in medical education.
• Lead high-impact research initiatives, secure funding, and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Expand and strengthen division's clinical, educational, and research programs; align with goals.
• Collaborate with leaders to set priorities and allocate resources.
