University of Southern California is seeking a Division Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery to lead clinical, educational, and research programs, improving care for patients with pelvic floor disorders.

The role emphasizes expanding services, teaching fellows and residents, and developing high-impact research, with an academic appointment at the Keck School of Medicine commensurate with training and experience.

Qualifications

• MD degree with completion of a 4-year ACGME accredited Ob.Gyn residency.
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• 3-year accredited fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery with URPS board certification or planned exam date.
• Leadership, teaching, and research with strong publications and funding history.
• Must obtain a California medical license by appointment.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Oversee high-quality, patient-centered urogynecology care and expand Keck Urogynecology services.
• Education & Training: Mentor residents, fellows, and students; ensure excellence in medical education.
• Research & Scholarship: Conduct and lead research projects; secure funding and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Program Development: Expand clinical, educational, and research programs aligned with goals.
• Collaboration: Partner with leaders to set priorities and allocate resources.
