The University of Southern California (USC) seeks a Division Chief of Gynecologic Oncology, fellowship-trained and board-certified, at associate or professor level. This academic leader will oversee clinical care, education, and research across Keck Medicine’s gynecologic oncology programs.

The role emphasizes teaching future gynecologic oncologists, leading a team of physicians and advanced practice providers, expanding research, and guiding program development within a large cancer center

Formación

• MD degree with completion of a 4-year ACGME accredited Ob/Gyn residency.
• Completion of Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship.
• Board Certifed in Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Board of OB/GYN in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Must apply for and be licensed to practice medicine in California by time of appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership for a division of gynecologic oncologists and advanced practice providers.
• Mentor residents, fellows and students; ensure excellence in education and clinical training.
• Lead research and scholarship, expand the division's research portfolio and secure funding.
• Expand and strengthen clinical, educational, and research programs; align with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with departmental and institutional leaders to set priorities and allocate resources.
• Balance clinical practice (70-80%) with protected academic time for teaching and research.
