Job summary

HonorHealth in Tempe, AZ is seeking Division Chief of Brain Medicine to provide strategic clinical and academic leadership for the Brain Medicine Division in partnership with ASU's John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering. Responsibilities include guiding research, program growth, quality and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has MD/DO, board certification, at least five years in clinical leadership, and experience in neuroscience or neuromodulation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted license in Arizona or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive clinical leadership experience.
• Experience in neuroscience, behavioral health, neuromodulation or related disciplines preferred.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Academic leadership and/or advanced leadership training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic clinical and academic leadership for the Brain Medicine Division.
• Lead physician recruitment, retention, engagement, succession planning, and leadership development within the Division.
• Oversee quality, patient safety, accreditation, and regulatory compliance in the Brain Medicine Division.
• Collaborate with Arizona State University leaders on research, education, and translational initiatives.
• Foster multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care across the division.
