Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Central West Texas Division seeks an Executive leader to drive practice operations from Austin, overseeing a broad network of providers and hospitals. The role reports to division leadership and ensures alignment with corporate priorities, regulatory standards, and patient care goals.

The AVP will guide six direct reports, manage budgeting, and partner with hospital CEOs to deliver quality, efficient services and strategic growth across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.
• Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in practice management.
• Experience managing multiple physician practices across large geographic areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management across Central West Texas practice operations.
• Ensure alignment with HCA policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with hospital CEOs and division leadership to meet organizational goals.
• Drive quality initiatives and patient satisfaction improvements.
• Lead strategic initiatives for market growth and operational excellence.
