The role requires interpreting complex drawings and schedules, Excel-based estimating, and willingness to travel for quarterly meetings and jobsite visits.

• Formulate clear, accurate bid proposals tailored to general contractors and end-user clients.
• Lead post‑bid follow‑ups and scope negotiations to close commercial contracts.
• Facilitate handoffs from estimate to execution with detailing and project management teams.
• Maintain long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, and suppliers.

The Opportunity

• Facilitate seamless operational handoffs from estimate to execution alongside detailing and project management teams.
• Maintain exceptional long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, and industry suppliers.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive commercial trade knowledge specifically focused on Division 8 doors, frames, and hardware.
• Proven ability to interpret complex architectural drawings, structural specifications, and hardware schedules.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel for complex estimating formulas, formatting, and data analysis.
• Absolute willingness to travel for quarterly meetings, trade events, and occasional jobsite visits.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of dedicated estimating experience within the commercial construction industry.
• Hands-on proficiency with dedicated door and hardware estimating software packages.
• Specialized experience utilizing Bluebeam software for digital take-offs and document review.
