Job summary

Moffatt & Nichol seeks an Engineer Diver (Structural Focus) for our Baltimore, MD dive team. You will perform above- and below-water inspections, assist with report prep and repair design, and engage in high-level analysis and modeling.

We offer two in-house dive training programs and opportunities for professional development. Travel may be domestic or international for selected projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Certified Commercial Diver required; ADCI/HSE/DCBC/IMCA/ADAS or US military equivalent diving school.
• Entry level to 4+ years of diving/inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs site investigations of marine structures, bridges, and other assets.
• Analyzes deteriorated components to assess load capacity.
• Prepares plans, specs, estimates and reports for inspection projects.
• Assists with civil and structural design within the inspection team.
