Job summary

The University of La Verne Center for Multicultural Services seeks a Student Assistant to support programs that promote inclusion and diversity on campus. You will assist cultural clubs, heritage programming, and virtual initiatives, helping plan, execute, and evaluate events and activities.

Ideal candidates will have an interest in human relations, equity, and social justice, strong organization, and communication skills; you must be available to work varied hours, with a Federal Work Study

Qualifications

• Understanding or interest in human relations, diversity, equity and social justice.
• Ability to work independently within University policies.
• Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn as you work within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center for Multicultural Services (CMS) with programs and events.
• Assist cultural clubs and organizations on campus.
• Help plan and execute cultural heritage programming and events.
• Assist with virtual programming and data collection for inclusive initiatives.
