Job summary

Divers Direct is seeking an energetic, customer-focused sales associate to join our Tampa team. You will generate sales of destination, enhancement, and lifestyle products while delivering superior customer service and education.

Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, stocking merchandise, processing transactions, and creating displays. A friendly, team-oriented approach is essential, with a willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous Customer Service experience; six (6) months sales or related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible retail schedule.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales of all product categories
• Maintain updated product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries
• Stock and replenish merchandise
• Coordinate product exchange and transfers
• Stamp, mark or tag price on merchandise
• Arrange displays to promote sales
• Complete sales transactions and maintain proper cash accountabilities
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the orderly appearance of the store
• Fill tanks and conduct inspections following training
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices
• Other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or designee
