Job summary

Nashua School District is seeking a District Wide Special Education Paraeducator - IN for McCarthy Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports instructional staff and students in special education contexts.

Placement is based on prior experience with a salary range of $19.94–$27.27 per hour. This position will require collaboration with teachers, aides and school staff to foster student independence and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Title 1 Schools require Highly Qualified Status (Associate's Degree or 2 years of college).
• Bachelor degree or Paraeducator II certification from NH Dept of Education is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation and reinforcement of instructional curriculum.
• Prepare and administer testing; provide input on student performance.
• Assist with IEP goals and objectives under teacher guidance.
• Support students with development and daily living skills as needed.
• Contribute to district-wide program delivery at McCarthy Middle School.
